A visitor visa, often known as a tourist visa or a temporary resident visa, is a type of visa that allows people to visit another country temporarily.

Every year, millions of visitors come to Canada to enjoy the opportunities. If one wants to come to Canada for a short period of time, for vacation or visit friends and family they will need a temporary resident visa. However, citizens of the USA and Australia are exempt from this requirement.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANADIAN VISITOR VISA

• Valid travel document or passport
• Prove that applicant’s intend is to leave Canada after visit
• Proof of strong ties with home country
• No Criminal background
• Medical examination
• Enough money to support your visit and proof of funds to support it
• Invitation letter in case of visiting a friend or family member
• Prior travel history (if any)
